If there’s been a better first term at Kanakuk Kamps I honestly can’t remember it. No one that I’ve talked to wants it to end. Today our football and basketball guys scrimmaged Kids Across America. A spirit of love, respect, and brotherhood prevailed. Kids from different socio-economic background but one body in Christ. You should have seen the respect and camaraderie.
Tonight was final tribal meetings and the election of new chiefs for next summer. We have some great young leaders blooming here. We believe it in them until they believe it in themselves.
Tomorrow the pentathlon and final campfire. Then a real sad adios. It has been wonderful!
