It all started in 1926 when a Dallas superintendant of schools named C.L. Ford built a handful of small frame cabins on Lake Taneycomo and called it Kugaho. The kids boarded a train in Dallas and road it to Hollister (just south of Branson), boarded a riverboat and boated to Kamp. Eight weeks after they returned to Dallas.
I wonder what “Mr. Ford” would say today if he came to K-2 and saw these wonderful kids having the time of their life!!!
I think he’d smile a lot!!! (I get to smile a lot everyday!!!)
